One thing for sure that makes Teslas different from conventional vehicles is it s propulsion and energy technology. There is so many new components to these types of vehicles, it can boggle the mind. But when it comes to paint repairs... It's the same as all the rest. Like we had mentioned before, not even the dealerships can use factory paint to repair your automotive paint finishes. All Paints and clear coats are derived from a 3rd party company. We use the same paints that the dealerships use to repair your vehicle's paint right at your home.
In this video we're going to be repairing a bumper corner on a blue Tesla model S. The bumper was scraped coming out of the garage. Most body shops will paint the entire bumper when only about 5% of it was damaged. We were able to repair the corner and blend the color into the factory finish.
This is a video of a Tesla 3. It had a scratch on the passenger side portion of the bumper. Although it was a three-stage pearl red, we were able to repair the bumper corner and blend the color and clear coat into the factory finish. We only had to paint about a third of the bumper to get it back to factory standards again.
Technically we repair "bumper covers". The bumper itself is a steel or aluminum piece located at the front and rear of the vehicle. But for aesthetics, most car companies cover the bumper itself with a urethane "bumper cover". When these are cracked or torn, we are able to mend them back together again. In this video is a great example of how that process works. This is a repair we did on a three-stage pearl red Tesla 3. The customer needed it repaired ASAP and we ended up repairing it at night.
The owner of this vehicle reached out to us to see if we could help with a more efficient repair than what he was quoted. A few shops mentioned to him that he would need the quarter panel cut off and replaced. We were able to press the dent back out and correct everything else with a thin coat of filler. In part two you will get to see the entire paint process of blending out the base color white and then overlaying the base color with the pearl. It's a very large repair and took two days to complete at the client's home. The vehicle was drivable immediately once we were finished with the repair here in Scottsdale Phoenix Arizona.
This gray Tesla model Y bumper head damage just below the passenger side tail light. We were able to do the entire repair while only having to paint about 1/3 of the bumper. We also Plasti dipped the center camps on the wheels. The repair time took approximately 6 hours to complete at the client's home in the Scottsdale Arizona area.
This is a video of a repair process on a three-stage pearl white Tesla rear bumper. The owner of the vehicle got quoted over $2,000 to replace the bumper. We were able to repair the damage without having to remove the bumper or the sensors.
This particular bumper damage was located on the passenger side rear bumper. It had a small dent and scratched the paint. We were able to reshape the bumper and paint only about a third of it into the factory finish.
In this video we are repairing a bumper corner and lower quarter panel portion that was damaged. The metal quarter panel had a slight dent in it that we were able to fill and paint along with the bumper corner. Even though it was a three-stage pearl white, we were able to keep the repair small. We repaired and painted the lower section of the quarter panel and only had to paint about 1/3 of the bumper corner.
This video is a repair of a Tesla model Y. It was a brand new vehicle and the passenger side bumper corner received a large scratch that we were able to repair in just a few hours at the client's home. We were able to do the repair by only repainting 1/4 of the bumper. This saved the client a lot of downtime and money.
In this video we are going to be repairing the driver's side bumper corner. The paint damage was not large but large enough for the owner of the vehicle do want it repaired. The paint damage was on the bumper and we were able to repair just that area. We were able to blend everything in to the factory finish.
This Tesla model X had damage on the rear lower portion of the liftgate and upper portion of the rear bumper. We were able to press the dent back out as much as possible while using minimal body filler to correct the body lines. We also removed all of the lower emblems and were able to reattach them after the repair was completed. This was a three-stage purl white and we were able to paint the lower portion of the lift gate and the center portion of the bumper. This saved the client a lot of downtime and money.
This Tesla model 3 had a few fish eyes on the driver side pillar that we repaired for the client. There was some previous damage that someone else tried to repair but had a chemical reaction in the clear coat. The owner of the vehicle contacted us to correct the situation. We were able to sand everything down and repaint the driver side pillar to look like factory again. The repair time took approximately 6 hours to complete at the client's home. It was a three-stage pearl white paint code PPSW. Cool customized Tesla 3!
In this video you will see how we repaired a cracked bumper on a Tesla model 3 pearl white paint code PPSW. The turn signal lamp was also dislodged from the backside of the bumper but we were able to reattach it again without having to buy any new parts. We were able to mend the bottom portion of the bumper back together again and only had to paint about 1/3 of the bumper. The repair time took approximately 6 hours to complete at the client's home here in the Scottsdale Phoenix Arizona area.

There was a little bit of damage just above the bumper on the metal quarter panel that we were able to fill and repair. We only had to paint the lower portion of the quarter panel and passenger side portion of the bumper. This saves the customer a lot of money and downtime on the vehicle. We also replaced the fender trim that was damaged as well. The owner of the vehicle supply the part and we merely swapped it out. Disrepair took approximately 6 hours to complete at the client's home.
This particular Tesla Y had a scuff on the driver side portion of the bumper. When the client purchased this Tesla, he was aware of the damage on the front bumper. He was able to get a very good deal because of that damage and he also knew that we could do the repair for him at a great price. We were able to complete the repair in about 4 hours and only had to paint about 1/3 of the bumper to get it to look like factory again. The scratches were too deep to buff out so we sanded everything down, primed it and blended the color along with the clear coat into the factory finish. The repair came out great and the customer was happy. This repair took about 4 hours to complete.
